Italian Villa Inspired Wedding in Salt Lake City Utah - Poise and Ivy Imagery
This day lives rent free in my head and will have a spot in my heart forever!!
Meg and Trey had the most stunning intimate celebration at The Villa, tucked away in the small town of Cedar Hills, Utah.
There are a lot of things I focus on during each wedding day as a wedding photographer; the cake, the details, the precession, the first look, the sacred vows, the first kiss, ETC! It’s all an important part of your wedding celebration and it needs to be documented, for sure.
But that’s not what your wedding is actually about.
Your wedding is about marrying the love of your life and celebrating your life together as a married couple! Your photos should reflect that ✨🙌
In all of my work I strive for one very specific end result. This goal and goes into my process and my art from the time I meet you and your future spouse, to taking the photos themselves, to editing the images in post production. I think this is one of the most important things to consider when you look for a photographer, and it’s the thing that’s going to last thtest of time long after trendy editing styles die off

Capturing your genuine emotions and framing your moments in elegant timeless imagery is THE most important thing about your wedding photography. Because let’s be real; when you look back on your wedding day, what truly matters are the emotions that enveloped you as you prepared to be married to your best friend forever 💕💕💕
Ok so I mean, if we’re completely honest with ourselves I might have taken what could be considered a plethora of table photos, but can you blame me!!? Look at how stunning this set up was! When night fell and the candles were lit, the ambiance of The Villa grounds was endlessly romantic, and Meg and Trey were able to lose themselves entirely in their love for one another.
As the evening drew on, the vibes became more and more immaculate! I love using my flash at a wedding reception; I feel like it captures the feel of the party, and the fun you and your guests are having!
This was one of the most beautiful celebrations I’ve been honored to be a part of, and it will always deserve a special spot in my heart! From running around the grounds and exploring the orchards The Villa has to offer, to settling in at the candlelit table to take a rest, this evening was full of love, light, art, and most importantly, emotion!
