First Look Bridal Photoshoot - Ashton Gardens, Thanksgiving Point, Utah - Poise & Ivy Imagery
Hannah and Parker are the King and Queen of all things elegant! I love that they chose Ashton Gardens as their first look location. Just wait until you see Hannah’s wedding look. I couldn’t have chosen a better location to showcase these two myself.
A good shot of the groom’s suit details and his wedding ring.
I love when grooms wear their wedding ring during the engagement. Brides get to, and I’ve always thought that grooms should be able to as well!
Hannah’s 1960s inspired wedding look has my jaw on the floor! I can’t believe how beautiful she looks in her wedding look.
This dress was actually custom made for her, and isn’t from a big name wedding gown designer! The gown maker absolutely nailed the 3/4 sleeves, buttons, the train, and the floor length veil to match.
The bride’s walk to the groom, waiting. I love the harsh sun we had for this session. I think it added so much personality to the gardens. I almost feel like you’d expect there to be sun in the gardens, because that’s when you visit them!
I love the way a groom shows his feelings before seeing his bride for the first time actually as a bride.
The shoes! I will never get over these; they’re perfect! The pearl ankle strap, the bow. Exceptional
A film inspired edit to match the inspiration for the bride’s wedding look.
The smile says it all! Parker couldn’t be happier to see Hannah feeling so confident and looking just as good.
I love that the buttons on Hannah’s wedding gown run all the way down the train. This is something you won’t see on mass produced wedding gowns, and is a sign of quality craftsmanship!
I am actually ecstatic about photographing this bouquet. White Rose Posey Bouquets are so timeless and classic when it comes to bridal bouquets. Clearly the perfect choice for these two.
The stone fountains could not be showing off any more! With the sun shining and the love all around us, this cascading masterpiece is the perfect backdrop.
Did I mention Hannah’s veil is embroidered with pearls?! She’s making my wedding dreams come true this year.
Again with the timeless, chic, classic, and elegant look. This diamond wedding ring with an oval cut, set in a gold band is exactly what you want to be wearing for the rest of your life.
The cobblestones get me. Cobblstones, in a garden, while the bride and groom walk hand in hand? Too perfect
The Secret Garden! This was so serene
I love the way this door in the garden framed Hannah and Parker.
Everything in the gardens came together to frame these two perfectly. It’s like the universe conspired in their favor.
Fun, playful, and a little bit naughty 😉
Nothing says “wedding” like the bridal carry! Kudos to Parker for saving his bride’s shoes from the mud beneath the grass 😅 He also gave me the perfect opportunity to capture a shot of their love in action!
